Assessing people's values behind their words: Elon Musk and the "likes jackpot"
Says Musk:

Musk: and I've seen no evidence of aliens so (if I'd find out) I would immediately tweet it out. Split of a second and be like time probably top 3 tweet of all time. I found one guys it's a jackpot, there's some eight billion likes
I'm not sure if Musk refers to "jackpot" as getting a lot of likes.
It may be, and it's natural human nature to want to more "likes" rather than less, nothing wrong there.
But if such a "need" makes it into an interview and takes precedence over all other considerations, I'd take that as a significant marker of someone's values and psychology.
Also interesting to note the interviewer's approach to a high-value man such as Musk (Musk laughs, interviewer finds it the most ironic thing in the world :) ).
