Hookers' psychology: the one mindset that defines a prostitute
Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on November 8, 2022, 6:18 amWe talked about cynicism here.
We said some cynicism is good, healthy, and even a "must-have".
But we also said that too much cynicism is not.Too much cynicism clouds people's minds to even the possibility of being close to someone in a way that's good for both (win-win).
Overly cynical people have a dog-eat-dog mindset of "steal and cheat first, or someone else will steal and cheat first".
You generally don't want to have these people close in your life as they make for truly poor friends, business partners, confidantes, intimate partners and... Pretty much anything.
The hookers' psychology: cynicism & impossibility of win-win
And I just realized right now that over-cynicism may be the fundamental ingredient of the hooker and gold-digger.
The inveterate hooker has a dog-eat-dog, win-lose mindset.
That's what's driving hookers and gold diggers to focus on short-term win-loses and swindling "tricks", rather than what looking for long-term win-wins (including with higher caliber men who are also less likely to fall for their power moves).
Example: the jaded waitress embraces the "ultimate hooker mindset".
I was watching a video from Anna Bey -Anna was initially recommended by Ali, and later labeled by LoF as some sort of "trainer for gold diggers"-.
The video was about a Gucci saleswoman who managed to meet and date a super-wealthy man
Anna has asked her viewers if working in luxury retail and professions facilitated the meeting and dating wealthy men. So of course I had to go through the comments and see what people said.
And this message struck me:
Now she may have a point in terms of general tendencies.
And many affluent men may indeed prefer dating higher-status women rather than service staff.
However, there certainly are exceptions.
Plus, your profession is only ONE aspect of your full personality.
And if once you're on a date with that high-status man and you turn out to be as awesome -if not more than- the other high-status women he's used to, then... What's stopping that waitress from at least having a shot?
A diamond in the rough is as valuable as one in a jewelry -if not more-.
Many men prefer the diamon in the rough. So, the harder-to-swallow truth is that it was she who probably wasn't that great when meeting and dating those high-status men.
But instead of working on herself and her personality, she took it out on the world and turned overly cynical. It's the fact that she cannot even fathom the possibility for win-win that makes her the perfect and eternal hooker.
As long as she keeps that mindset, she'll always be a short-term, throwaway hooker -she may not be throwaway anymore if she meets the guy who doesn't mind wifing up the hooker, but she'll still stay a hooker deep down-.
Note that she may not even be a hooker or asking for money.
But her mindset is still the jaded hooker's mindset.
