Best push-pull in cinematic history? (hilariously beautiful)

The whole movie is great.

Also recommended in Seduction University as a good background movie for seductive environments because of its imagery, cinematography, and transcendental music.

And the last lines of this scene always made me laugh in an "unintended dark humor" kind of way.

Plus, there is the perfect juxtaposition of idealization VS harsh reality, romance VS prostitution.

The music in the background, the farewell... It all seems to lead to some beautifully romantic moments.

And it starts that way... And then the far less romantic reality gets back in to temper all that over-sentimental overload:

Him: you deserve better

So far it sounds like a nice provider-type compliment.

Her reply:

Her: the last man who told me that is buried out there

Wow.
What a stark reminder of the transient nature of life -especially any time you step out of civilization-.

And then:

Him: You know, Jill, you remind me of my mother

(looks away, as if to reminisce and to say something deeply beautiful)

She was the biggest whore in Alameda and the finest woman that ever lived.

Whoever my father was, for an hour or for a month (= "for all her beauty, she failed to grow a child in a healthy household") he must have been a happy man. (back to eternal beauty now: that moment is etched into the universe)

(screeching door, sound of flyes takes over, again stark reminder of the harsh reality of daily lives in the frontier)

Plus the humor of the uploader, titling the video "way to compliment a lady", perfect :)

I am laughing on how this will turn out if used today. I am imagining getting kicked out by a bouncer.  🤣
