Drazil Introduction
Hey, I've never been too great at introductions, and I've always been a brief communicator, so I'm sorry if that comes off as "off". I'm Drazil, I recently went down the self help rabbit hole after a big life catastrophe in a desperate attempt to learn valuable information about the world and how to best conduct myself, In the midst of that I read the likes of "The Moral Animal" and "The Ape Who Understood The Universe" and I fell in love with the concept of evolutionary psychology, even though further investigation lead me to believe that Evo Psych may not be the most reliable worldview, it provided me a good, comprehensive mental framework that gave me a sense of empowerment that nothing else was able to give me. I recently discovered TPM and I was skeptical at first, but after learning about Lucio and the way he communicates with his audience he has earned my trust, and I feel like our interests align as well. So I'm honored to be part of this community and I hope we can all learn to make more effective decisions as people. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about that issue you had (and without wanting to force positive spins on everything, it's also true that many major life setbacks can also be catalysts for positive growth and forward movement).

Was there something specific that made you skeptical?
Edit: or anything speicific that changed your mind (and if anyone else has anything to share in this regard, feel free to open a thred about it).
I think I've heard it more than once now, and it got me thinking if there may be anything that may be improved in the way TPM presents itself.

It's mostly just that I'm a naturally skeptical person, and I've done my fair share of research on the mechanics of marketing (I've read Influence and similar books), but If i like the person who creates the content then I will support them. Also Power University is giving me a wealth of information and is currently holding all my attention today.
