Emotional Mastery Review

PreviousPage 2 of 2

Of course :)

I'll write it here since I don't want to make edits in the post without your approval:

Overall I give the course an 8.5/10 rating. It has great content with some minor grievances (see CONS), and it has had a huge impact on my self-development journey and my general well-being.

P.S.

I haven't changed my signature because I currently don't have anything impressive that would add credibility. I'll look to change that in the future though :).

Hi Mats,

I believe there's plenty of credibility in being a driven learner because it's a quality not everyone has that can take them further in life than those who don't seek out new learning opportunities.

So, you can leverage that to craft a solid placeholder bio until you decide to update it later.

One option would be to use a "LinkedIn Summary Generator" and edit it as you see fit. Here's one I put together based on your journal entries:

About the Author:

Mats G is a student of power and charisma who enjoys connecting the dots: be it ideas from different stoic disciplines, routines for better daily living, or applications from different self-development literatures.

In his studies, Mats has taken on various personal development pursuits, including developing confidence, improving social skills, and mastering mindsets.

Feel free to get in touch with Mats via the ThePowerMoves.com forum at @Mats-G.

If you want to, edit this bio and use it for now. (And, change it whenever you're ready.)

I don't have anything "impressive" either...

Or do I?

Both "impressive" and "not impressive" are valid.

In large part, I believe there's nothing impressive about me -just another human being-.

But in large part, I also believe I'm impressive.

There is great merit in humility and not getting carried away no matter where you're at.
But there is also great merit in "switching it on" and feeling the "the shit", and self-promoting effectively.

BOTH are important in life.
But only one is crucial for success: the latter -which is why it's Machiavellians and narcissists at the top-.

And it's one of the reasons why this website was born: to fix that.

To quote Steve Jobs:

Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact: Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you.

You could easily swap that with "people that were no more impressive than you", or "people who started doing and self-promoting" when they hadn't done a single thing more impressive than you.

So please mate, show us -but more importantly, yourself- the impressive Mats :)
