Quote from Andrew Andretti on January 26, 2022, 1:35 amHello everyone, I have a question on frames. For example if I’m talking to a coworker, and were talking about who has more work to do, and I think I have more work, and the other person thinks they have more work, what can I do there. Cause a lot of the times I change topic to avoid getting into an argument. Is changing the topic good or bad, or should I try to convince the other person why I think I have more work than they do. And just in general, if I’m talking to someone and we have a disagreement on something, is it better to just ignore and change topic, to avoid an argument or try to convince the person why I think I’m right. Does someone have a good answer to this? Thanks in advance

Whether or not to change topic depends enormously on context and other factors... I think we'd need a bit more information to advise on this... for instance, is this argument happening because one or other of you is going to have to take on additional tasks? maybe the situation requires collaboration rather than argument?
