Hahaha, funny I see that I used to think of myself as an optimist. And now I think being a realist is more and more appealing. Actually we should be able to switch between realism and optimism depending on the situation.

This is proper (military/authoritarian) leadership from both officers: in communication, dominance, tone, hypotheses/problem solving, efficiency. Just beautiful. Not too much not too little. Just well-oiled machines. And apparently he did not know the other officers: real good training for this level of coordination. Off course it's sad the shooter lost his life.
