Giorgia Meloni frame control

Italy's first female premier separated from her partner.

And journalists were asking her about it on the sides of the Egypt summit on the Israel war:

Journalist: we certainly don't want to get into your pesonal life
Meloni: bravo!

LOL, great move.

Thread expand on what he himself said he didn't want to do.
Albeit she probably knew full well he was going to do exactly that, it's still good to expand what's good for you and still serves as a "signpost" she can go back later on.

Later on:

Meloni: I'm good, I'm very good, I do my job as usual
(...)
Meloni: let it be clear I don't want to talk about this anymore

Not too bad.

And gerat that she didn't use the "woman card" saying that htey wouldn't ask that to a male prime minister (even if that would be true).

But now the newspaper's titles are all about "Meloni doens't wanna talk about her divorce".

A better alternative:

I'm good thank you, but let's focus on the thousands of lives at stake in the conflict now

That shames them for going personal and petty when she's indeed dealing with bigger issues.

Then any question about her divorce, she'd just say:

I only talk about the biggest issue at stake now please

Yeah it's proper mom-child dynamics. Very dominant and yet appropriate in this situation. A "good job" babying power move.

He dug his own grave. He tried to go indirect but did not have the power to do so. So he got nailed.

He went indirect, she went straight. She took literally what he said figuratively. So yes great verbal judo here. Proper uppercut.
