Has anyone tested pretending to know the girl?

Hey guys, was wondering.

Has anyone tested the Will Smith style of pretending to know the girl to get rid of the other guy?

I've tested it only twice and it worked both times but with both those girls, I've had an interaction earlier on in the night.

Was wondering how it works for you guys COLD.
