Hi their I am sillygoose9845 and I am just a sillygoose trying to live their best life

Hello everyone, I live in Canada also I am 19 and I am currently doing high school upgrading to hopefully get into a good university program and am planning to work full time in the meantime hopefully when I am able to find full-time work. I am really excited to be apart of this community and being able to engage with all of you I've parsed through the forms allot last year over the summer and decided to buy the course because of how much value the free stuff has provided me like the stuff here is mind blowing and for the most part my goal with the course is be able to develope the skills to develope good quality win-win relationships with the people I care about alongside be able to deal with situations that are unfavorable such as someone trying to use absuvive techniques to set up a unhealthy dynamic with me. I looked into the free stuff allot last year so my awareness of this stuff is decent but it is somewhat iffy. I have no idea how to properly intergrate my reddit review of the material in TPM in a smooth way so here is my reddit review of the free stuff     "The information from the powermoves.com has completely changed the way I view almost all the social interactions I have. From things such as framing, covert insults, thread expansion, absive techniques, quicksanding, giving rope, social faints, assertive verability silver medel games ect, I think that among all the resources I've read on social skills the power moves website has the most complete framework for social skills. I've been diagnosed as socially pragmatic which means that I don't understand social ques and social settings and when I was in high school I would follow conventional social skills advice along the lines of asking questions being friendly, more or less allot of things outlined in how to win friends and influence people. Just talk to as many people as possible go really deep. I would let other people walk over me and use me as a tool, just bombard people with questions and yes I had friends but people just dealt with me because I would just talk and was friendly the information on the powermoves has changed how I view relationships as a whole and I think that the powermoves is on the cutting edge of social interaction. It's also helped me realize deceptive games other people have played with me and when I have been taken advantage of. It is incredible how some of the most socially savy people I know don't know what they are doing yet can be so masterful socially. I personally attribute that to social skills being a declartive skill and something that everyone picks up at a young age, therefore you can inantely pick up on the patterns in social interactions but it is absolutely mindblowing. I think it is the best resource their is when it comes down to learning social skills. I have uncovered allot of toxic traits I have as a bi-product of learning the information their it also helps me be a better person for the people I care for and the information has been priceless to me.," my other interest include study skills, fitness and the habits I have that I am trying to curb is video games, doom scrolling and webnovels thank you so much for the time I hope all of you have good days!

Sounds like you encountered and noticed firsthand the limitations of "standard social skills advice".

But props to you for having found out and for already addressing the limitations.

And you seem to already have a great mindset that stays away from extremes, and seeking personal power, without turning into an ahole.
