How is corona affecting thepowermoves?
Hi Lucio, I appreciate a lot that you also share with us information on what happens in your business. I also have an online business in the coaching space + blog. I am experiencing a big drop in traffic and in bookings as well. But luckily still enough to survive.
How is the pandemic affecting your business, if at all?
Hey man,
Let me say first that I'm not a huge "metrics guy", and I set my priority on the quality of content rather than analytics.
That being said:
- Traffic was down. Not hugely, but visible. Seems to be recovering in the last days (see picture)
- Email sign-ups, I opened maybe 2 or 3 daily reports in the last 3 weeks, and they seemed below average, so maybe sign-ups are lower, but I'm not 100%
- Subscription signups: slightly fewer 1 year signups, but more monthly ones I think. Overall, no big effect
- Ebook purchases are slightly up
- Bottom line, I think no major difference
I think the limited effect is because of the type of people who visit here.
A good chunk are driven folks for whom the cost of the material here is not much. Or they are driven folks who plan on earning enough that the cost of the material here is a reasonable investment.
