How long does it take to go through Social Power?
I'm making a plan for myself to improve my emotional intelligence. It's nice that you've put up an overview of the curriculum, could you tell me more about how long lessons will take? I'm planning to spend two moments during the week on it. Could you give me any estimation how long it will take me to work through it?

Wonderful goal, emotional intelligence is truly a critical skill for life.
Even when you want to say "fuck what others think, and fuck it if they're gonna get offended", emotional intelligence is still critical to help you decide when that "fuck it" moment has come.
I think that if one goes at a healthy clip, he should be able to finish each module as they release at a 5 days interval.
My goal is always to give enough information that each topic is dealt with exhaustively, but also compact enough that people can go through it relatively quickly.
To do that, I keep the theory to a minimum, just enough so that you can understand the reason why certain things work a certain way -that way, it sticks more-. But the course is meant to be practical, with practical examples and practical strategies (I see my job as to go through the research, digest it, and then provide practical ways that people can apply that wisdom to their lives).
So with a little over a month, one can manage to finish it while also internalizing most of the information.
Some of those lessons you might want to come back more later on, but already after a month you should beable to leverage the infomration in a way that will give you a real and practical boost.
Then there is "Ultimate Power" in the bonuses which includes more mental aspects, like growth mindset, self-esteem, meditation... And I'm gonna add "masculinity" as a topic soon as it's very popular. And those are habits you need to practice before they become ingrained into who you are.
In more quantitative terms, when I see that a lesson is getting around 7.000 words, I think how to better split it or how to spin off the less critical parts into forum entries in the advanced forums, so that can people can choose whether or not they need to dig deeper on that topic.
The articles here are on average 2000-3000 words, so you can expect the average lesson to be a bit longer, but still able to be finished in a single sitting without going crazy.
So, yeah, all in all, it's a meaty course that you will not finish in a couple of days.
That's the negative side, but it's also the positive side. If you stick to it for a month, chances are that it can provide some real value in upgrading your life.
