How pickup Ukrainean women?
In Bucharest there are plenty Ukranean women. I understand there is this war going there, a war whose consequences will affect us, as we live right next door from Russia and that those women left the country in order to avoid being killed or worse, so I hope I'm not coming up as callous.
But I would like and I tried to pick up some of them and they reject me quickly with an "not interested". I am direct, I say that "I believe she is an interesting/attractive woman", but it doesn't work.
Do you have any advice for me? Maybe my way to approach them is not ok?
I don’t think that Ukrainian woman are different than any other woman from Bucharest in terms of how to apply seduction.
You might have to persevere and play the numbers game.
Have you gone through seduction university? There is a lesson on how to do cold approach.

I don't think Ukrainian women are all that different from most other women.
Of course there will be some nuances then, and a few things you can adapt and tweak, but the tweaks at the individual woman level are generally a lot more effective than at the national level -also because, cultures and group-level differences don't always stop at national borders-.
Personally, I'd probably start out by asking how are things with her and if the family is OK and then empathizing with the shitty situation.
Then bridge to more uplifting topics, about her and you, and take it from there.
BTW, I borrow your "not to be callous" frame. But for dispassionate analysis, with more men on the frontlines, the dating scene in and around Ukraine is probably getting tougher for women and better for men.
