How to leverage your status in your private life
Hello guys and girls,
From my experience, here is how to leverage your status:
Have free time
If you're a thoracic surgeon working 100 hours a week, how are you going to leverage your status in your private life? Not much because you don't have time to have a big social circle nor the time to enjoy your life.
If you're a broke surfer and have tons of free time, your private life might be much better since you have time to build a social life and enjoy your life.
Of course, there is a middle ground. These are extremes example to show my perspective.

Yep, I'd add:
Have the possibility of having free time.
Because if the work you're doing is your life mission / passion... Then you're probably happy doing that.
Even here, of course, it's not 0 or 1.
Life can be about phases and periods, so one period one can go all-out, and then another period have a lot of free time.
