How to show dominance through text?
Quote from Razor on October 23, 2020, 5:21 pmI'm working from home because of Covid. That means I mostly communicate with co-workers through written communication (email, Skype chat).
What are some good tips on showing dominance through text? I've read the article on verbal dominance. That's quite useful.
I'd like to know some phrases I can use to be more dominant. Like "go ahead" or "ask" or "thank you for looking it up for me" (showing that you've made them work for you).

Hey man,
I don't know much about you, so this message can be far off the mark and you might already have all the right mindsets.
I think it's very possible you need to behave higher power and higher dominance.
But the mindsets as well the aspirations to get to a place of higher power are crucial.
Whenever I read about someone who's looking for ways to "show more dominance", some red flags pop up.The aspiration of dominating others, as well as the belief that it's the road for success, can easily send people not towards power and social success, but towards what I call "dickhead-dom".
People who seek to dominate others tend to make lots of enemies, few friends, and zero true emotional bonds.Check out the "start here" sections.

I'm not talking about dominance in a bad way. More in a power move kind of way. Not being submissive.
I was referring to your own definition of "dominance" like you've described in this article. Which is a very useful article by the way.
