I can't make her look at me when she's walking
Quote from Ambrose661 on April 30, 2023, 1:21 pmHello!
I'd try to be curt: When I see a woman walking on the street and I walk ahead of her in order to have her look at me first before me saying something, she doesn't look at me. Either this, or she somehow sees me while staring forward, something which women seem to be able to do. Also, if she does this in purpose, she's trying to ignore me, something which makes me wonder if I send the wrong vibe or maybe if she had bad experiences when having been approached on the street.
What do you guys think?

Difficult to pick any of those options without seeing you.
But since you're just another guy walking in front of her, the "sending the wrong" vibe wouldn't be my first choice.
More likely it's just that women don't stare at any guy who walks past them.
Generally speaking, it's definitely better if she sees you first and the ideal scenario is if she thinks that you look good/nice.
Of course, the ideal is rarely the norm, so as long as she sees you, it's OK.If she doesn't notice you, you can still say hi while looking ahead and let her look at you first.

Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on May 1, 2023, 2:24 pmSure thing, and ultimately the mindset is:
You do whatever you can to put the odds in your favor, but in the end, any shot you take, however imperfect, is better than not taking it.
So even in the growing worst case scenearios that she doesn't think you're great looking, that she doesn't see you, that she turns around and see your staring at her as a first thing, and even that you spook her a bit on first approach... You still took your chance and did your part -and therefore, you did well-.
