Is the course mostly based on American society?

I've bought the Seduction University Course and I have two problems that I would like help with.

The course seems good, considering the first lessons, but there is a lot of talk about wealth as an indicator of a man's SMV. If I don't want to go this way, will this be a hard race for me? I understand that I can balance my value by muscle building, buying good clothes and similar, but is wealth so important? Also, do I have to be a top dog in my social circles?

Second: I'm from Romania. Romanian men who are into pickup culture and have also traveled abroad say that if you can pickup girls in Romania, you can pickup girls anywhere. Will this course help me even here? I'm not even sure what they are attracted to, pickup artists here are heavily into bodybuilding and fitting clothes along with game, so the competition is harsh, and if the women are into people with money, there are a lot of people higher than me.

About the culture here, touching a woman in order to make her pay attention to you and look at you is not ok if you don't know her, it's a no-no here bordering on harassment. So, is the course based on American culture or does it work here too?

Hello Ambrose,

To answer your questions:

The material works pretty much anywhere with the due tweaks...

... And the important tweaks are usually flagged in the course.

Generally speaking, many of the general principles and good practices aren't cultural-dependent.

When they are, Seduction University usually highlights (ie.: when it says that "moving fast is usually better", it helps readers adapt it to their culture because "speed to sex" tends to be very cultural and short VS long-term-dependent).

That's something that always bothered me about many other courses actually: they mostly operate from a Western point of view, and often from a notch-counter objective, without mentioning the many different cultures and those who'd date for longer-term).

Touching example

You mention touching.

You're definitely right that in some cultures touching is a much bigger no-no.

In large part though, it still also depends on how you do it (in another thread we talked about a guy who'd hug and kiss a woman on the first meet, and we agreed that if you do it confidently and without being weird/aggressive about it, it'll generally work well if you do it genuinely).

However, if in your environment it's "generally better not to" and if you're touching wouldn't come naturally to you -and I agree then in most cold approaches outside of night clubs it may be better to avoid, and I also avoid most of the time-, then the tweak could be to waive a hand in front of her -or better yet, on the side- while looking away (so she looks at you first and doesn't turn to meet your eyes predator-style, see the lesson on body language later on).

Money in the initial lessons

The initial lessons are there to provide the (correct) theoretical background.

In that sense, they're very important, and the more of those boxes you can check, the easier the dating.

However, it also mentions that one shouldn't make too much about it.

If I had to compare myself to that "evolutionary psychology ideal man", I'd have scored pretty darn bad.

So don't worry too much about money -just as an example, I  remember an attractive lover I had who complained her ex-boyfriend had no ambition and was happy to stay at his 2.000 EUR/month salary in a period when I thought "f*ck, I wish I had that big salary". Obviously, that didn't stop us from dating, and didn't stop her to want more than just sleeping together-.
