Manipulative invitation for meet
Quote from Growfast on January 6, 2022, 3:08 pmI have come across a way that some people use to make you invest more into the meet when they are the ones for whom the meet is more important. It also carries a bit of a judge role in it.
Ex -
Person - I am wondering to have a meet/date with you but I am not so sure about you right now.
Now the "I am not so sure about you right now" is a judge role role which make sit seem like the other person is evaluating you.
Now if you ask the person why he/she is not sure then that puts them in a position of power and you as the one for whom the meet is more important.
If you do any sort of invite then it will again seem like you are the one for whom the meet is more important.
This will put you in a social debt when it was the other person for whom this was more important.
The way I know to neutralize this game is to say
Me - Makes two of us who are not sure about each other then
I think this reply is turkey like where you are stooping down to the other person's level.
What are your thoughts on this situation and? How would you handle it it a higher power way without turkey games?

Quote from ZenDancer on January 6, 2022, 3:38 pmHi there growfast.. I think if somebody in my life told me '... I am not so sure about you right now' my response would be to tell them to stop bothering me until they'd figured it out... there might be exceptions to this, like if it was my life partner and I had genuinely behaved badly, but if a friend tells me they're not sure about me, I tell them they needn't worry because I am sure and I don't have time for such nonsense in my life...
Just my two cents..
