Modi handling Trump powermove
Quote from Growfast on December 26, 2021, 8:42 amI recently saw a video where Trump used his signature style of yanking the other persons hand during handshake and Modi had his own power move response by hugging him.
It shows one of the ways to counter such moves.
Feel free to express any other counters to Trump handshake move.

Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on December 27, 2021, 2:14 pmHave you seen much "yanking" here?
I haven't seen much yanking here.
Apart from that, the hug was very good.
Also, mate, check out the definition of "covert question", as this felt like a covert question and covert questions lower your persuasiveness -since people are less likely to weigh in- and can make you come across as sneaky.

Quote from Matthew Whitewood on December 27, 2021, 3:25 pmNot much yanking in my opinion.
Other interesting points:
- Donald Trump has home ground advantage at the white house
- Donald Trump lets Mod walk to him
- Modi sticks his hand out more confidently because Trump looked down to meet his hand
- Modi has the hand-on-camera advantage
- Modi appeared to "yank" the hand towards him because he walked closer to Trump
- The hug: Modi had the face-on-camera advantage and Trump had the height advantage
- After hugging, Modi uses double hands and has the hand-on-camera advantage
Trump faces the camera during the handshake so it appears that he's investing less in the handshake- Modi has to walk back to his podium
- Trump starts talking so he looks leader-like
Overall, I feel Trump is a bit higher power.
The exchange looks very fair considering that Trump is the host.
