New "Start Here" Video Intro
Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on October 3, 2023, 6:20 pmHello all,
This video should go in the "Start Here" page to provide a quick overview of TPM:

If anyone has any feedback, let me know
Especially, I'm curious if:
- The "shaky" camera angle detracts instead of adding value

Quote from Kavalier on October 3, 2023, 7:55 pmI think it's great, Lucio. It's a solid introduction to the course, and the camera looks good to me. The only thing I'd change is the the overlaying of "people that matter most" with a world map that highlights the western hemisphere/India/Australia in the background, greying out the rest of the world. It might send the wrong message. An even coloured, perhaps a vintage,"yellowed over time" map could do.

Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on October 3, 2023, 8:21 pmThank you so much, Kavalier!
Yeah, the message wanted to be about "democracies" and "free society" -or, at least, not despotic-.
But thanks to you now I realize that it doesn't even communicate that, and it's too easy to misunderstand, thank you!

Even better than the one before. It's more grounded thanks to the visual being more still. I think it's also cool you change location/standing.
Mmmhh... I'm partial to the "Bad Man" part. If I was a bad man and I would watch your video I would buy right away your product. So not sure how to accomplish this. Maybe in lying and saying it won't work for them. I don't know.
I think it's great that you talk about your value: Truth.
I think it's great that you say "some people" and it's written "Ahole".
I understand Kavalier's feedback and agree. The message could sound superior/white manish and to my mind it's not exactly clear why India is colored. So it's kind of confusing. I think it also don't advertise the idea of "there are good people everywhere".
I think it's great when and how you introduce the "Eagle" concept, I find it much much much better. Smooth and as a conclusion I think it sounds logical, clear and appealing. Same for "Power Dynamics".
I would remove the "Revolutionize civilization" message and spoken text. I think it puts people off. I learned this when I shared that my goal was to "revolutionize medicine". I was being told that it made me sound arrogant and self-aggrandizing. I think it's a worthy goal. And I totally agree about the rationale as I'm sure you know. Here I'm talking about communication.
I think it's great when you say "... and partially the art" as it could put the more rational people off if art is too much at the forefront in terms of communication.
I like the body language overall (posture, hand movements, etc.), especially when you touch your head when talking about mindsets.
Regarding the length, as I said before I think these kind of videos in our ADHD World would be ideally 5 min long. But I won't do it. I think that the video is engaging so I think people will watch the whole video because of quality of presentation and information. I would not remove anything (apart from Revolutionize civilization).
I think one of the strengths of your video is that you talk about the person and who they can become. It's only at the end that you explain how they can do that with the product. So it does sound like you're focussing on the person and their transformation and then provides the tool. That is light years away from someone touting their own product from start to end. So the WIIFM is strong here.

Just like you I do my best to practice the continuous improvement mindset (v2). Iteration after iteration.
