Obtained power but caused reaction
Interesting dating app interaction in which I signalled power and interaction moved forward, only for her to react strangely.
Me: Tell me the dogs name
Her: Wait I don’t remember exactly Have we met before
Me: Dog first
Her: Poppy
Me: Poppy & (name). Doesn’t quite ring, cute couple tho
Her: Lol nah but my dog her name is Lucy. Is a Pomeranian. Lucy and (name)
Me: Little trick answer eh, better watch you
Her: Lol anyway answer mr now. *Me
Me: Because you earned a response lying about your dog
Her: I’ll send you a photo. She is right next to me now. Sleeping
Me: Alright, cute (wrote my number)
She texts me the photo
I didn’t reply that night because I was mildly turned off and don’t like to drop everything just because a girl is showing interest. I wrote something next afternoon that started as an iMessage before converting to “sent as a message”. I also rang, which went straight to voicemail. Both signs she blocked my number in her iPhone.
What’s happening psychologically to her, is that a fragile ego? Or is she heavily focused on power herself so reacted against my taking too much power from her? Possibly she purposely dropped the hint ‘mr now’ instead of an actual typo.
Not fussed about the interaction but trying to learn from it.
