Power body language: nod up, not down (Brad Pitt example)
Brad Pitt is exceptional.
He comes across as one of the most confident men of all Hollywood, which is already packed by people who are striving to come across as confident as possible.

Most people nod down when they say "thanks".
Pitt nods up instead.
Totally different feel, which he "neutralizes" with the smile and words not to come across as confrontational.
Perfect.

maybe being considered one of the most good lookig men alive have done some good stuff for his self confidence?

Yeah, that definitely helped him.
Plus the fact that he's rich, a world-famous star, and that he's good at what he does (but that's in good part because of his work).
But he also did probably study and researched that stuff. Just like his ex wife Angelina Jolie did to come across as sexier and more sexual.
