Power University completion survey
Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on June 21, 2023, 12:37 amHello dear readers :),
I've been working on a survey for Power University alumni.
Specifically, for those who have completed or done a big enough chunk to start seeing some changes.
If you have 5 minutes to spare, it's 10 quick questions and I'd be grateful for it:

(but I may have to make it private again later as it shows countries)
Can't say anything more meaningful with this little data still, but to ignore that fact just for the sake of an early comment, the benefits are massive, and the area where one could take those benefits even higher include leadership and group status.
My very personal first thought was that some people may underestimate how good/better they may be with status. If they feel more confident, skilled, and better at getting respect individually, then they also already have all in place to gain more status. In the beginning, I asked about dating results/skills but later changed to attraction because I didn't think it was fair to assess results on a course that doesn't focus and doesn't push "putting oneself out there" (like SU does).
I may also email it to PU alumni for more data.

Quote from Ali Scarlett on July 6, 2023, 5:59 pmWanted to mention, I kinda laughed at this part because of the way I initially read it:
Lucio: "Finally, the incredible achieved outcomes [with “more than 10x” being the most commonly picked response across the whole survey]...I believe this may be because Power University is designed for results, rather than entertainment.
[And yet] In future versions, I will [still] be working to also add a layer of entertainment [anyway] with more videos, rewards, and improved user interface.I thought to myself, "Only driven Lucio could take a good thing and turn it into something that needs fixing :)."
You have a course that performed phenomenally across the board because it's designed for results. And yet, now you want to start focusing on entertainment value?
But, when I reread it, it made more sense.
Especially, as someone who's now developing his own course, I'd actually make the same move in Lucio's shoes. (It's not as if PU's content would be made worse/less effective due to better presentation.)
At the same time—and I along with a few others have said this in the forum before—if I had to choose between a course that's more results-producing or more entertaining, I'd certainly prefer the former from PU.
So, moving away from the position of a course creator and thinking of it more as a student, I like how PU is right now.
That said, things can always improve, and if Lucio's added layer of entertainment makes PU even better then, of course, I'm happy for it.

Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on July 8, 2023, 12:57 pmLOL, yeah, can see how that may come across hilarious :).
As you say, adding a layer of "etertainment" can be great as long as you keep the learning value intact (or improve it).
Moving towards "more entertainment" at the price of less learning would be a huge no-no and against our values as well.
One more thing I also added to my "improve list" after the survey is self-confidence.
Even one person who said "not at all" made me thing we didn't properly serve that person.
And while PU is more meant to cover the mental aspect, I think it's also good to have it in PU -probably including a series of video in the bigger next upgrade-,
