Progressive escalation in defense

Hello guys,

against passive-agressiveness, Charisma on Command recommends progressive escalation like this:

What do you think?

Nice approach.

Of course, the important caveat is the good old "it's situational".

Not all "attacks" are created equal, and some of them require immediate and more direct and assertive boundary-defense immediately, while some others might remain at a "bemused nonverbal level", as if to say "what the hell is this" until the end of the interaction.

Robert Downey Junior wasn't the best example in my opinion: the interviewer was terrible, but he came across as quite triggered.
