Question about micro power showdown video.

I came across this video in SU, and I think i dont get very well the underlying meaning of each power move.
- Him: I like you too. ( While keeping strong eye contact and saying it in a calm tone,)
So what i got from here is that she comes as the pursuer, given that he says that he likes her in a relaxing tone and even smiles at the end (almost like saying Im actually kidding), while she says it in a more intense tone .
Then she looks down showing that she has been socially overpowered and is the submissive one of the two.
Im not so sure if I got that right to be honest.
However what i find hard to get is how:
- Her: I like you.
Is a power move. I suppose that its a power move because even though she isnt trying to test him, his reaction can actually change the dynamic of the relationship, but im not sure.
(If he overreacts he comes off as insecure and probably the one that pursues more of the two)
What do you guys think?
Its my first forum post, so IÂ gladly accept feedback.

Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on April 23, 2023, 11:00 pmThat guy in that scene was an absolute beast of seduction.
It's a movie of course, but things like that can and do happen in real life.
When she says she felt she could talk to him about anything, that's like superpower.
She chases more of course because she says "I like you" first. And he does the right thing to say the same back in order to avoid self-rejection and come across as unattainable (he's already winning anyway, no point in over-winning because you can go too high power and shut her off).
And the WAY he delivers is perfect -pretty much everything in it-.
Albeit one can get to that point consciously and premeditately, what makes that whole vibe super effective and seductive is the whole feel of "there are NO power moves and games between us, we can drop the mask".
Dropping the mask also makes her feel free to "drop the guard" and unleash all her positive feeling and attraction she has towards him, increases sexual attraction and also makes it a lot more likely she'll orgasm if they get together (you know what they say that many women only orgasm when they're comfortable with a guy? Well, his superpower is to make her comfortable to be her full self).
And chances are high she will go into a fast "whirlwind romance" and fall in love.Sex and The City was a fantastic show by the way because it had a lot of examples of realistic great seducers and high-value men.
P.S.:
When asking for more info about a lesson/concept it's helpful to link to that lesson so one can get the context.

Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on April 24, 2023, 10:09 amIt's all good Power Duck, as long as you learn more, you're always better off.
I think I now remember what this video was the example for: maintaining eye contact and letting her be the one to divert the gaze first (right?).
This whole scene was quite advanced, but as long as you remember that one simple thing, it's already a huge step forward.
Then if you add the second element, which is the smile, you're golden since then you're both high power and high warmth -you can also add the smile after you win the "mini showdown".
So these 2 simple basics make up the 80%:
- When locking eyes early on during a moment of silence, maintain it and it let her divert the gaze first
- Add a smile to make it warm instead of turning into a "I beat you" sort of context (so you're a force for good in her life)

Thats the thing i was missing! In the topic It says that we have to figure out the power showdown as you can see. (thing i wasnt able to do)
Considering that the video is in the Social Dominance section of the topic, now it makes even more sense for me how the eye contact is the key element of the interaction.

And yeah, Im sure that remembering that will be helpful. I often come across as high power and low warmth with the women I like.
Thanks again Lucio.
