YB short ideas: share here

Hello all,

I'm looking for ideas, topics, or reaction videos for YouTube shorts.

If you have any:

  • Topic you'd like to see covered
  • Event you think deserves a video
  • Reaction video to any other provocative, silly, dumb, or smart take/opinion video you see around

Share it here.

I'm starting now to do some reaction videos.

So anything you see around the web that you think would make for a good reaction, do share it.

Hello Lucio,

I'm all about mindset. I want to learn how you think and to think better in order to be higher power, higher quality higher value. How to think like an alpha male, etc. How to think regarding women, etc.

Idea #1:

How about filming yourself listening to one of the video testimonials for PU (and only selecting the most interesting segment of the review).

The inspiration for the idea came from "instacoachmike" on Instagram (see this example here) as did all of the other ideas below.

Idea #2:

Another idea might be the two talking heads (see an example here) with a more unique question such as, "Give me a shit test I can give women" (since "shit test" is one of TPM's top organic keywords according to Semrush).

Idea #3:

One of those "today is the best time in history to (dream result)" posts.

For example, "Today is the best time in history to get a hot girlfriend. Think about it..."

Idea #4:

"3 things I wish I knew earlier about making friends." (Example here.)

Idea #5:

Answer common questions (with an oversimplified answer). Examples (also from Semrush):

  • "How can I pass shit tests?": show three simple quick frame control techniques in the video, then give the full explanation in the caption.

E.g.

  • "How do I do cold approach?": share three steps made to sound like non-general advice
  • "How do I be dominant?": share only three styles of dominance (I'd probably go for a clip of the George Clooney charmer, then the cold-blooded Putin to keep their attention/engagement, and end on Jordan Peterson for the charismatic). Then, in the caption, say something like, "Follow me for more styles of dominance."

A video example that shares only some of the vision/idea.

Idea #6:

A "this is the mistake that will make you lose (insert consequence here)."

E.g. "This is the mistake that will make you lose your girlfriend."

See one example here.

Idea #7:

"Stop doing (insert common mistake)."

  • Easy for the audience to understand example: "Stop listening to red pill podcasts!"
  • More advanced for the audience example: "Stop doing the agree and amplify!"

Real example one and real example two here.

Idea #8:

Faceless content with thought-provoking or controversial quotes.

Example: "To be good, you have to know how to be bad."

See a real example here.

Edit:

Added the screenshot example image.

BOOM!

Thank you Ali, these are golden and will come back to this post multiple times for sure.

And thank you John!

If anyone has anything to add, go for it :)

Yeah I think Ali's specific feedback is helpful.

I hesitated being more specific, I see now it's value adding.

I'll let you know if I have some ideas.

Personal tastes:

  • How to...: as discussed in the past, to me it's been used a lot already.
  • Stop doing...: as above + it feels a bit patronizing to me

Of course, it all depends on your target audience. In the US the ones above could work I think.

Another idea (kept separate because I'm not the biggest fan of it for TPM compared to the others):

Create an enemy.

See an IG reel example here.

I think it was done very well by Paula Pant recently in an email she sent out to her list recently:

Framing yourself as the "truth-speaking expert for the people" who's calling out the "selfish gurus" can be a good foundation for TPM, if it chooses its enemies wisely. (E.g. I personally wouldn't go after red pill gurus, there's too high a risk of any "truths" being seen as hate by its loyal fanbase.)

Hello Lucio,

here are the ideas again:

Work: become a high performer. Become the best in your team. Deal with a manipulative co-worker. Earn more money. Rise up through the ranks. Politics at work.

Social life: get a high value social circle. Choose high quality friends. Get a great social life. Get respected by your friends (already covered, could be in a playlist by topic, maybe already the case)

Seduction: debunking myths from the pick-up community: LMR, shit tests, etc. Social circle game vs cold approach. Get high quality mates.

Self-development: why self-development. Bullshit self-help vs rational self-help. Your journey in SD (where did you start? what it brought you?). Become high value. Become high quality. Become high power. Success vs Power.

Might post more as I think of new ideas.
