Some resources on being effective?

Hello guys! :)
I find it very hard as a perfectionist (anyone identify? lol) to move towards a more effective (doing the Right things) and efficient (doing them the right way) approach to life, learning, career, etc...
I search about it and come across some information but most of it is kinda theoretical  like the pareto rule, I wonder if Someone can recommend about a practical resource that helps with both effective and efficiency.
