Standing up to bullies: resources?
Quote from John Freeman on May 10, 2020, 10:31 pmHello Lucio,
I am doing the social power course and I watch your youtube videos on bullies (boss yelling, judge Judy/July, Neil Strauss). This is a challenge for me. Sometimes I am too trusting and I miss recognizing subtle forms of bullying until it's too late. What would you recommend as a first step among the 3 options (or another)?
- To work first on self-esteem
- To read a book about how to defend against bullies: do you have any to recommend? I bought a few, "Nasty people" is great.
- To continue doing the course and it will become clearer as I move forward in the course.
My question is clearly: how to effectively learn how to defend against bullies?
