Suggestion: defense sub-forum
Quote from John Freeman on December 27, 2020, 1:57 pmHello Lucio,
first, I want to thank you for your open-mindedness and considerations of my previous suggestions. It's a pleasure to be part of a community where suggestions are being listened to.
Here is a new one, what do you think of a "Defense" sub-forum inside the power dynamics one?
Because I find it to be a huge topic in itself.

Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on December 27, 2020, 2:10 pmHey John,
Interesting, what do you think a sub on "defense" should include?
Like how to defend against power moves, one-upping, abuse, and generally all value-taking behavior?
As a general approach, I seek to keep the general categories both to stay at a higher level of abstraction, and to avoid "crowding" from a user interface point of view.
Right now there is 4 of them:
- Leadership
- Case studies
- Negotiation
- Techniques (proven)
With one more, it would be 5.
From a graphical point of view, it might start to look confusing. There are some workarounds though, like I could change the name "techniques (proven)" to something like "top" or "gold" to make it shorter and save some space.

Yes, exactly.
I think it's a very important topic. I understand the issue. If you look at how much we post. I think we post way more about defense than leadership. I think your categories are good. I also think the title "techniques (proven)" is good.
So I could suggest:
- To replace leadership with defense: but that's not fair as leadership is important. But it seems that it's not the current priority concern of most people.
- Just to add the category and be ok with 5.
