Sometimes one single word can be a major red flag:

What's a better businessman for Lopez?
Better skills to deliver more value, a better man to be a better leader... ?
No, more ruthless is a better businessman.
Of course don't expect the podcaster to ask anything on that.

It's also interesting how he removed the "I" albeit he's unequivocally talking about himself.
He truly thinks that "more ruthless = better businessman".
But he knows he better not say that too openly, so he avoids associating too strongly with the "ruthless".
