Tasking from my roommate: how to handle it?

I have encountered situations where my roommate will tell me to go have lunch, have a bath, etc in front of other people.

Now I really hate tasking and I feel the method of ignoring him makes me seem lower power when he is in my face.

Also I personally didn't feel self-tasking worked since it still feels to me like he gave me a task and I repeated what needs to be done.

Re-tasking can't be done because it's my independent task.

So what would be the ideal method in such cases

What are your thoughts on this? Or is it that ignoring, Self tasking actually seem higher power?

Edited:
Changed to descriptive title

Do you actually execute the tasks that your roommate asks you to do?

I was thinking you can tell him

No worries man later

If he repeatedly tasks you, you can bring this up with him

Why do you keep on asking me to have lunch and take a bath? I prefer if you don't

I struggle to see how that behavior would look like in real life without it being a joke, a joke-power move, or really weird.

In which context would a guy tell another guy to "go have a bath"?

Maybe before going out together, then "go have a bath" might stand for "let's go out, and you're the only one who hasn't showered yet".
But still, we need the context to understand.

P.S.:
I changed this topic's title Growfast, and for titles plus providing the context plus providing possible solutions, do check the guidelines (not the first time I recommend that, right?).

yeah, if he is not partially joking nor that type of treatment is reciprocal and/or common in your mutual social circle, it is a blatant disrespect to say that to another adult in front of other people.

The kind of thing only someone who does not fear in the least your reaction would say, most likely, and a very nasty unprovoked under the bus thrower (UUTBT)... unless he is completely socially retarded.

What is the next imperative thing he is going to tell you in front of people to try to humiliate you/make you loss face: that your breath stinks?, or maybe: go take your medication for gonorrhea? lol

Yeah, you put it in a very "raw" format, Stef.

But you're right, it can easily be blatant disrespect and extremely disempowering.
