There's A Hole Here
Quote from Mist1102 on June 17, 2023, 8:00 pmI looked up the word mentor and mentee on here and I saw something a bit concerning.
It's not centralized. It astounds me that something as crucial to self development has not had a dedicated place for it here.
Now I'm a longtime reader and can tell you Lucio/Ali have plenty of nuggets on how to handle dynamics in a win-win way and progress teacher/pupil healthily if you look
example of one centralized: teacher-pupil-frames
I think there is more to be said here or maybe even dive into the ideas individually.
For my generation especially gen z/younger men it would be invaluable for a collected spot with nuances, tips, tricks for mentor/mentee, teacher/pupil, frames and such
So whether this plants a seed for articles or more discussion in our self development journeys wanted to see what you guys think. Mentorship has been huge for whether I stuck to and got past the inevitable blocks in building a skill personally.
Many of you relate...I now see the funny timing in this being near fathers day haha. Yeah for some of us our first mentor role model would be our dad...
Anyhow comments, ideas, and or wanting to get ahead and drop some nuggets or a story about your experience mentoring/teaching and being mentee/pupil - sticky situations or soaring the heights
all appreciated!
Take Care
