« TickTick » To-do list app
Quote from John Freeman on July 2, 2023, 8:38 pmHello,
I’ve been using this app called TickTick for about 6 months and I recommend it. I’ve used in the past Excel sheets, word files, hand written to-do lists and this is the best I found so far.
I researched and compared it with other to-do list apps and this is the best for my use. In the case of Lucio, maybe you need some project management features. So this is not a project management app.
It’s great for personal, work and daily usage. One can sort the different tasks into lists or sub-lists. One can also assign them priorities, deadlines and reminder. Also the feature of « constant reminder » who rings until one turns it off for those tasks one cannot afford to forget.
One can also set habits with a certain amount of times to be done.
The view is very intuitive and convenient. I use it on IOS and on MacOSX and it synchronized seamlessly between them.
It’s also very cheap at about $30 dollars a year. For the value I get it’s a steal. Even this post I planned to write was on it.
The outcome: I’m more efficient than I’ve ever been with this app. It allows me to focus on my priorities of the day. So if I don’t do something I planned to do it helps me to make sure that it was not high priority. I can also plan in advance the days I will be doing tasks so it fits the principle of putting my tasks in my calendar. I set a completion date for my highest priorities and don’t set a date for the medium and low priorities most of the time (laundry is medium priority but I set a date).
So if you’re about getting things done or are looking for a to-do list app I would give it a try. If it does not fit your need at least you have a good standard to compare to.
If you try it or are already using it I’m happy to know about your experience with it.

I looked through so many Habits App that don't have basic functionality that is syncing mobile with desktop or hide it behind the paywall but this app is exactly that, free habit app with syncing. It only took so long to find it because there's no "Habit" in the name.
I find it good enough with free version ( I don't do many habits at once ) so you can even cross the $30 dollars off.
