Thank you and glad it was helpful.
And BTW, that's one of the reasons why I think it's a good idea to go through those lessons even though some people might not work in a structured organization. Succeeding there is still in large part about understanding people, and many principles and approaches also apply to any other relationship.

Awesome, thank you so much, Bel!
Fixed now.
And yes, it might have been a shirker looking to buy time -albeit if I remember correctly, she seemed more high power and driven, while stereotypical shirkers are often losers at the bottom of the food chain-.
Edit: but it's certainly possible that in the specific case she used that game as a way of buying time and avoiding tasks.

Quote from B on March 5, 2022, 7:52 pmI agree, I now realize she was playing a much nastier game of trying to put me under control, making sure my work was as difficult as possible due to her inconveniencing me with her moves, while shirking my requests for help on my cases in which she had no interest.
I find that shirking requests for help is also one of the signs of frenemies, though they usually do it by faking providing some useless superficial sabotaging “help”. Many specific past cases of this now come to my mind, including many “colleagues” and my former “boss”.
I think shirking is one the warning signs of all takers/manipulators. Asking for help can now even be a test, as you taught me.
