Useful knowledge source?

Recently I realized that I would like to explore entrepreneurship more seriously. As I thought about it before especially when feeling obstacles and challenges I had and the level of achievement that I could get (not enough and not exciting) in the academic/government/nonprofit circle that I spent all of my past years in. My goal is to study more and network more in this circle. I did try a few different strategies but I didn't feel they panned out too well (working for emerging startups my friends founded).

I started to explore podcasts and found one that I really resonated well called "Entrepreneur on Fire". I think they provide a variety of topics and they focus on no BS wisdom and also perspectives on scaling businesses and how to operate as a human as well as a business owner. But the problem with a lot of podcasts is that there are way too many ads and it gets a bit annoying after a while even for the value-centric EoF podcast.

I also appreciate MJ DeMarco and his series of books and I know he has a book list here: https://www.thefastlaneforum.com/community/greatbooks.php?id=100 and planning to get audible books of those.

I think systemically studying things and connecting dots is a core skill for any entrepreneur. Just wondering if you all used any knowledge source that you felt was great.

Fastlane forum is very active and the DeMarco seems solid, but not sure about the quality.

The best I've seen is from Alex Hormozi.

Still, entrepreneurship is one of those things where personal experience and doing trump any theoretical knowledge.

Not every field is the same.

Social/power dynamics and strategies one can learn a lot even just reading because you already have a ton of life experience with it so you already got many dots you can connect.

But entrepreneurship, if you haven't done it before, you may have a lot fewer dots to connect.

BTW,
Ok for you if I change the title and add "entrepreneurship"?

Sure. I'll definitely look into Alex Hormozi, thanks for the recommendation, Lucio.

Agree that it is all learning by doing. I'll also share my personal experiences soon in this :)

P.S.: never tried to change the title of a post before - not sure where to look, I usually see an "Edit" button if I feel something was off about a thing I just posted. Sorry about it and also thought I clicked the "entrepreneurship" subforum so this should be categorized but it doesn't seem the way it is.
