So when speaking in your normal voice you want to keep the larynx neutral right? How can I know for sure that when I’m speaking to people, my larynx isn’t going up, and how do I keep my larynx in the middle? Cheers!
Not a voice expert, but I'd say you need to experiment and self-assess.
The larynx is supposed to stay more in the middle with the exercises IF you were pushing it up -not everyone does, so the exercises aren't equally helpful to everyone. someone will need it badly, someone else might not need at all-.
