What do you think of AI-generated images for TPM?
Mainly, this one:
Since it's on the homepage where many people expect to get a real picture of the head behind the website, it can feel inauthentic.
Recently, I hired a few people (all of whom had never visited the website before, some of whom had marketing experience, and some who were just regular first-time users) who all said the same thing:
The AI-generated image diminishes trust and should be taken down.
But, I'd like to hear it from the community here, what do you guys think?

I like it and did not know. But now that you tell me it has this AI feel (which I’m sure will be improved very soon) and I feel not the smartest person for not having noticed.
If the people noticed then I would take into account their feed-back.
A suggestion: a before and after picture. These are the more telling. Ideally a customer before and after but it’s tricky to get pictures and there is anonymity issues. So I thought maybe pictures of Lucio before and after if he and you think it’s a good idea of course.

The image is a placeholder for now and considered to be "good enough" to not be the next highest priority thing to tackle.
BTW, to elaborate a bit more:
I think it's a great point that a picture of me there could work well.
Especially now that the "author box" is gone.
On the other hand, I'm wary of giving TPM/PU an image of a "one-man thing".
Worse yet, to send a message of "look how cool this guy is, you can become like him".
In that case, I may even turn out to be the lid, or the only result possible.
But nope, with the information anyone can do more -or simply different- than any specific individual.
And I want TPM/PU to stand on the merit of evidence/logic and even more on real-world results (this time including me of course, but even more forum, former alumni, and anyone who tries the information out).
Of course one could have both:
A cool founder who put the advice into practice for good results, plus all of the above.
Not the case here :), but that would actually make sense.
But I'm worried that a picture of me first thing on the homepage may crowd out all the rest.
So that's why I'm still considering it and open to it, but more leaning on the "no" for now.
