Where do I buy the TPM book?
I confess being in IT I hate extra screentime which makes me an extra lazy PU student.
Is the book out yet. I saw a pop-up which disappeared. Was that a teaser or test marketing?
Yeah, I like that approach of finding time away from the screen.
The book should come out in the next 2-3 months.
Albeit the main manuscript is ready, it's taking a bit longer because this time Ali is making sure we're publishing a "proper" book, with the full process that includes 2 rounds of professional editing.
@aliscarlett is point man here and can confirm, add, or redact, but I think there should be a hard copy and we're even talking for an audiobook -I tried to nudge a guy with e a top-notch, high-power voice and he's thinking about it :)-.
As for the pop-up, yes, it's a split-test to decide on the best cover picture.
A bit of an ethical grey area, but in this case far more on the "fair" end in my (biased) opinion since the mini-course automation is very good (a teaser for the book is also coming out before the book itself though and we'll probably share it on the forum as well).
Yeah, quick update here:
The next round of editing is projected to be done by April 15. Then, I'm going to do a full readthrough to make sure the editor didn't change anything she wasn't supposed to (accepting and rejecting suggestions), and after that, we're going to do a final round of editing based on our exchanges of feedback. So, editing should be done by May 1.
From there, it's on to formatting which might take until June 1 unless we pay a rush fee (and I'll be discussing that with the team when we reach that point because we've already been able to get the book cover rushed for free and that was with their partner company, so it might not be too much hassle to get the formatting rushed as well).
During the formatting time, I'll be working on a shorter version of the book that'll be an awesome preview people can grab both on here (at TPM) and at TCCB.
After that, I'll be organizing a launch and the book will be in your hands hopefully no later than August. (We'll still need to do some other prep work such as getting an ISBN and ordering an author proof copy to check the paperback and make sure our manufacturer is going to print it right, but those are details that shouldn't take too long.)
