Women who trust too little: why they're not ideal companions

There's a subset of women with trust issues toward men.

Albeit many feminists are included of course, the group is larger, and includes feminine women and "good women" alike.

Sometimes they've had "lacking fathers", which includes no fathers, abusive fathers, financially deadbeat fathers, useless fathers, manipulative/lying fathers, etc.

The signs of "women who trust too little" include:

  • Recalled text messages because she overthinks what to write, sub-communicating she's in strategic mode rather than in "fully open" mode
  • Late replies, especially during important or emotionally charged conversations, for the same reason as above
  • Says things such as "I shouldn't have told you that", a sign of higher strategic mode, than openness mode. And she may have a list of "things she better not share with you"
  • Female-only cliques with girlfriends / sister(s) / mother, including insider jokes, over-hiding personal conversation, lengthy conversation for "topics the men aren't allowed to hear", etc.
  • Profile pictures & social media pics & posts of "supportive women", women cheering, and women-only outings come up whenever there's an issue between you two, a sign that her first step to mend things is not addressing things with you, but running to third-party women that have little to do with your relationship
  • Girlfriend(s) protective against the wrong person, the male partner, saying things such as "be good to her", "I'm watching you" or placing "joking threats" (and you always want to address those heads on)
  • Comes up with arguments that she "previously discussed" with whoever else, a sign that what reaches you is being thought over, and potentially, filtered, strategized, and presented for maximum impact, not for maximum openness
  • Strangely tentative and with little to say around topics that are important to both, a sign that she's afraid of "making a mistake" and she'd rather think her steps over. This shows a lack of genuinity

You may have a functional relationship with these women.

But, unluckily, true closeness and intimacy are severely impacted.

Because of the lack of genuine and the holding back, you may struggle to even get to know the real her -less aware men may never realize though-.

If you can read the signs, it's also possible to address -and even fix- the issue.
