17 Signs Of Gaslighting & How To Deal With Them Effectively Feedback

So this post has a lot of useful information about gaslighting and I found it very informative.
The only thing I have problem with is that there's not much about "How to Deal With Them Effectively".

From what I remember post says "You can't win with them so you should just avoid them". But sometimes it's not possible to avoid such people. They work in the same workplace for example or maybe they are even family and there are situations when you just need to be with them.

It would be a far better post if it had successful examples of people dealing with it, not even winning but just showing "you can't play this game with me" so at least you know how to successfully set boundaries and stand your ground.

The forum conversation with gaslighting showed how to successfully address it when you have more power, but in most situations, you don't have the power to just remove the person from your life. Albeit it's a good advice that you need to distance yourself from someone like that, show that you don't find them pleasant and won't talk to them if you don't have to.

Edit: I see now there's a footnote "See Power University for the practical steps" which I missed before so I understand why it's like that, I still think it would be helpful to give overall picture of how to do it even without practical examples ( which is for premium users ).

Yep, I was just going to write that, but you beat me to it :).

I consider that article foundational to understand both:

  1. Manipulation dynamics
  2. Assessing characters

Both of which are fundamental life skills.

However, toe be comprehensive, the article was already very long.

Adding even more may even turn out bad for SEO as more people would abandon the page, and fewer people would have end up seeing it.

So I broke it down for PU, and added the "how to handle steps" there (plus, of course, it's always good to give more/better to the customers than just the blog readers).
