Very early versions of the "we need you empowered" eagle.

Pointing a wing:

Pointing a finger:

I then asked to put the eagle more at an angle ot make it less "aggressive" (more developed version):

My feedback on this is to make it at less than an angle.

My opinion: The last one is awesome. It soothen the serious "propaganda " effect. It is quite clear that it is cheeky not in the sense that it is ridiculous but more that it is a pastiche/parody. So it borrows from the original idea, has a positive undertone and still communicates: "move your ass, boy". Check all the boxes to me. I would keep the finger instead of the wings as it's more readible symbolically. The trick is now the hand colour. I think it has to be congruent with the rest of the image in order not to go into ridiculous territory.

The colors I'm sure you already have ideas. I know it's tricky as said in a previous post. I think it's more beneficial if I give a feed-back after having seen the first colour draft. Otherwise it gets confusing and it's not helfpul (brainstorming confusion).

I'm not quite sure I totally understood the "less than an eagle". If the idea is to make it look like an earlier stage of the final fully-developed eagle I respectfully disagree. Like in the original poster it's Uncle Sam an authority, I would still keep the authority effect here. It's a friendly and empowering message BUT it comes from above. That's how I see it.

I don't know yet what other people think.

Thank you so much for the feedback John, super valuable!

P.S.:
That said less than an angle*, poorly written, but it was supposed to mean that the eagle should "face the audience" a bit more, so have "less of an angle".

Now looking a bit more straight (the design is poorer, so one should only judge the angle and not the final product:

If anyone has any feedback, happy to read.

I also think that of the 3 options listed, the third is the best. It reminds me very much of the world-famous poster of Uncle Sam where he calls the men in the U.S. in World War I to fight for their country.

Also somewhat familiar with the fight here to become a better person.

Really nice!

PS: More centered it looks better in my opinion

AWESOME!!!

Agreed with the eagle facing more: better. It also comes out more as a smirk which is higher power than the warm smile in the previous version. You say the design is poorer. I don't see why.

One suggestion would be to try to lower the Earth and/or make it smaller. To me it's drawing too much attention from the Eagle. It all depends on the message you want to send. If you want to send the message: "conquer the Earth" it's good. If you want to send the message: "become an Eagle" it weakens it I think. Also in terms of colors if you use colours on the Earth: primary (or close to primary) blue and green will draw a lot of attention. So the size + colour might make it drawing too much attention.

I think it depends a lot on the colours before revising the Earth size/position maybe. For instance if the Eagle is golden and the Earth is blue and green I think the position and size is fine.

You're the judge.

The other proportions are fine I think. The hand is big but it works well with the other elements in terms of proportion.

The text is perfect, would not change a thing: size and font.

The rays coming out of it are also perfect: they give power to the image without taking attention from the main elements.

Thanks, I'm glad it's helpful! Or if the Eagle is black and white size and position of the Earth works as well: higher contrast than the Earth.

The new version:

If anyone has any opinion on it, happy to read :)

P-E-R-F-E-C-T. The balance in sizes is just right.

Would work very well on your (very cool) merchandise (t-shirts, etc.).
