Do you feel that cold showers help you?
It has certainly been better for my skin.
I feel generally better with healthier skin.I spent some time doing research on cold showers and cold therapies as a wider field.
I encountered mixed research.
Some say it's good for anti-ageing while others claim that results are inconclusive.I am deliberately exposing myself to austerities (intermittent fasting, cold showers, time bare on the floor, etc.).
I am reading up on how shocking your body helps in anti-ageing.
There's a book by Professor David Andrew Sinclair that I haven't found time to read but would definitely like to:
Lifespan: Why We Age – and Why We Don't Have ToIf this is a big topic, I could open this up on another thread.

Good question.
Frankly, I'm not 100% sure.
They do give me a certain rush and positive feeling after I've done it, but I can't really say if there are sustained benefits (some exceptions apply: it was counterproductive when I've done it under the weather or with a sore throat, so I try to be effective rather than doing it just so that I can "prove myself").I'd personally guess there might be some, and I do it in part for that, and in part for the personal challenge.

I managed to cure my insomnia with cold showers in the past despite the research saying that it does the opposite.
