My Journey to Power

I feel I reached a plateau in terms of dating and social life. To go to the next level I need to increase my effort. This is not enough. I’ll report back on my progress if any.

I fall short over and over. I err.

Still in the arena, John, out.

It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.

I revised my mission.

I work for the light, love and life. The people I serve is the children and all who serve them.

In my pipeline is a post about serving a cause. I might write it someday. It feels right to write it here and now.

The benefit of serving a cause is huge. To me there is no greater purpose. Serving something greater than oneself. The disadvantages are known: failure, ostracization or even death (French resistance and torture) among others (ridicule, etc.). The advantages are many: meaning, etc. The main advantage for me is that it makes one unstoppable. That there is no force other than major disability, death or giving up that can stop the person. There is no calculation to tip the balance in favour or against. It’s a choice. Like having children or not or what profession to choose.

I’m aware my recent messages sound like PR. I’m expecting a « Feedback and clarifications ». I stand by each and every of my words. I’m not afraid anymore.

I’ll be more clear: I’m not afraid of rejection nor ostracization anymore. From friends, women, family nor work anymore. I proved to myself over and over again that I can adapt.

@bel: you were right about JB. He's not a good person. It dawned on me tonight. He uses jokes to demean people all the time, me including. 3 real jokes - 1 mean joke - 2 real jokes - 1 mean joke. Something like that. So it's very covert. I think he might be a manipulator.

A confrontation is coming since he insulted me in our common group and I put boundaries. He did some manipulative shit and now we're supposed to talk tonight. He's now playing the waiting game.

I so wanted us to be friends that I got blinded by my own projections.

I made a choice that is currently transforming my life to say the least:

I decided to put my self-respect above all.

Caveat: that means that I must extend this self-respect to myself not only from the way I'm being treated.

@power-duck: writing it here easier. Since you're using subliminals, here is one I recommend to you:

I think it's the best subliminals I used so far. If you use it: put the brainwave session at the beginning of the playlist, then several times the "aircraft cabin" for the total duration of your sleep (6-8h). Then set the volume to something that can let you sleep and listen to it for a month. Results come after a couple of days only. If you're interested in other subliminals from this website, I only recommend versions 5.0 or 6.0. They're much more effective. Disclaimer: independent opinion, just another user.

Watching the one about discipline.

These guys have high level mindsets. Hats off. You got my respect, Echelon Front.

These guys are indeed elite soldiers. I now understand what it means.

I know I wrote this above yesterday.

But I have to share it: just like self-esteem was a core issue. I now realize that discipline is a core issue to my life. I'll talk more about the course later but I'll say it already: $99 is so so cheap. I've never heard ideas like that and I've been doing this for a long time. Hence my message above.

I'm excited so I'll write it here already: I understand that improving my discipline will totally change my life. It's both scary and exciting.

And I think there's a difference between willpower and discipline. A subtle one but there's one. In the course it's more clear.

Bernard was changing his couch and wanting to throw it away.

He's a cool guy but he always teases and sometimes in a one-up style. He has inferiority complex. Has to show where he is that he's travelling, etc.

So I thought about it. And I refused the couch. I did not want him to make fun of me because I already accepted 2 tables and chair from a friend (who's not one-upping me). So it was out of pride. However, I prefer not to have a couch than to have one and this guy makes fun of me.

It's not my best choice but the gift came with strings attached: making fun of me for taking my friends' old furnitures.

After reflection it’s not the best idea to visit them all first. I’ll lose time. Better to see the requirements for all countries and apply first. See where it sticks. I might make a choice and then my application does not work. So it’s better to apply everywhere and then make a choice.
