Training with egomaniacs at the fight gym
Quote from JP on October 28, 2020, 5:32 am@lucio: No offense taken. I definitely appreciate the feedback, and I completely agree, I do have a male ego that's afraid to "look like a rat", and feel the need to "take care of my own business". But most of the times, that is ineffective. After all, wars are won by large groups of heavily armed people, not 1-on-1 fist fights.
- Hey AJ, may I give you give a feedback / heads up about something? (or: can I talk to you for one minute?)
I really like this, it sounds more confident than "I'm not sure how to tell you this..." I like that you mentioned having a collaborative frame since I never really thought of it in this context. I've mostly thought of it as "I'm the paying customer, you serve me".
@John Freeman: Thanks for the input. Yes, the "I care for the group" mentality is definitely something I am lacking and could use some work on.
