New TPM logo: feedback?
Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on September 15, 2021, 10:35 pmThank you, Ali!
I'm thinking of removing the "fly with the eagles" just to simplify the top logo.
But in any case, we're there now.
And it's all the TPM community that shaped it.
Thank you, Ali!

Quote from Ali Scarlett on September 16, 2021, 12:23 amYup, glad we were all able to pull it off together.
And, by the way, I gave some feedback before on how the designer you hired could go about simplifying the logo:

So, some possible feedback for the designer:
- Smooth out some of the eagle's edges: to make the eagle design look more simplistic (which makes it appear more "traditional" and professional)
- Keep the eagle taking off: a great idea
- Go for a horizontal design: to make the logo neater
- Use the eagle to replace the letter "V" in "MOVES": to keep the eagle involved and included in the brand/logo
I think those adjustments will move us further in the right direction.
Here's what that might look like now:
This way, you don't have to remove any core elements of the logo (such as "fly with the eagles"). And, you'd be pulling from the design concept of a logo that already works and looks good (the footer's).
*Note: This mockup is a little cut-off because it was rushed, but I think it conveys the general idea.

Quote from Lucio Buffalmano on October 10, 2021, 3:56 pmMuch of this new logo project is done now.
I've uploaded it to the website -of course- and to most TPM social media (but didn't feel like changing Batman's FB cover picture yet).
So I wanted to give some thanks.
Thank You
Thank you so much to everyone who gave precious feedback here.
Many people weighed in on these pages, and I'm deeply grateful to everyone.
If it were for me, I'd have stopped at the first draft. A first draft that wasn't even 5% as good as the current one.
I remember some of @aliscarlett feedback being mind-blowing good.Thank you to Nadia_Younus on Fiver for her wonderful designer work.
I can recommend her to anyone who's looking for a designer. And finally, thanks to J. as well.
She's probably not going to read this, but I'll never forget that when I didn't have money to invest in a logo she gave me one as a gift. It was both deeply meaningful at a personal level, and impactful from a business perspective. It stayed as TPM's face for years, and I'm very grateful for it.
