Remember from the previous lesson the example of the girl to whom I said “I’ll let you know ASAP”?
Frankly, even if I had the answer ready for her, I still would have said the same.
It’s because I didn’t trust her to do me a favor fast, so I’d rather “keep some value undelivered” to increase the odds that she will act, and do so quickly -exactly what happened, BTW-.
It seems this part of the context is missing from the previous lesson in PU. Not sure what the refence in this paragraph is to, but equally I may have lost track from one day to another.
