https://thepowermoves.com/courses/power-university/lessons/the-reality-of-the-workplace/topic/conflicts-of-interest-at-work/ - I believe the terms intrinsic (internal) motivation and extrinsic (external) motivation should be swapped here, with extrinsic related to money and internal related to mental states:

In short: the more the owners can reward employees with ideals and emotional rewards (extrinsic motivation), the more output they can get out of those employees while also paying them less monetary rewards (intrinsic motivation).

Solution: Money Talks, Just Listen

Money talks straight, owners manipulateListen to money.

The Power Moves

Lemme preface this actually:

There is nothing wrong with extrinsic motivation, ideals, and values.
Actually, they are great and provide real mental -and even physical- benefits.
But also: don’t lose track of the hard-cash transaction.

Enjoy the values, ideals, lofty goals and all the extrinsic motivation you can get. But make sure you also get your full financial compensation for the value you bring to the table.

Thank you for the input shufflaz - I like the more specific terms you've used. Only thing I would mention is that you may have flipped the extrinsic and intrinsic motivation round in terms of meaning.

As far as I understand the terms:
intrinsic - is internal motivation - emotional, values, ideals
extrinsic - is the external motivation - material things, money, status

Just my 2 cents

First Impressions

First impressions are fundamental, and “you never get a chance at making a great first impression”, go the maxims.

Self-Defense Against Power Players

King Jong Un in this video shakes hands with people without looking at them (but don’t mimic him: he’s not a good role model for social power).

PS. King - made me absolutely laugh today LOL

1. Male bosses expect you to honor the hierarchy: act like he is a boss to be respected and listened to, and he will like you more that if you pretended you two are “just two human beings”.

That happened to me some time ago, and a little later we went back to my place.
I cannot re-run the interaction to test it, but I’m fairly confident this was the biggest turning point on the way to bed.

Also, a mini power showdown video example here, see if you can spot it (the guy’s vibe is also perfect).
Update: Test yourself, then check the answer here.

I suppose there should be a link to a video example here (marked in pink)

Looking at the 3:rd question (and it's answer):

"There are a few instances in which Williams tries to take charge with shaming attacks."

Could be replaced with:

"There are a few instances in which Williams submits power to his wife. Which is the strongest signal of them all?"

(or something similar)
