By the way, Sverige is an interesting individual to analize, he has some weird ideas about other topics, but many of the shit he propose about nutrition seems to be close to something true. He may even have some natural charisma of a cult leader.

And this the wrong way to do it (from a silly video of top 10 farts, a typical socially challenging situation):
The estric version of the carnivore diet ( the one without dairy and eggs) would have prevented this travesty from happening, as carbohydrates are the ones that get fermented into gas! (remember the cows farts and burps)
Very usefull tip for girls that work in porn and have to do, well, some types of scenes...
plus some old good intermitting fasting.

"You're usually going to be stuck in this loop of wanting to eat every time your blood glucose drops" and 3 meals a day seems very necessary"
Great video, a light bulb went off in my head when I heard that.
This is exactly what I'm experiencing in now in my third day of 20/4.
My appetite decreased, and I was thinking "maybe my stomach shrank or I'm getting used to this". But it might actually be more about the glucose loops. The jury is still out for me on whether that's enough to maintain some muscle definition and keep high energy levels when needed (the highly sexed lady I'm seeing is also interested in that :).
But overall, it does feel like I'm at least experimenting on a potentially awesome life hack. Thank you for sharing this Stefano!

If you eat enough animal fat to keep hormones in good shape (e.g: testosterone),
and drink something like coconut water (for the electrolites)
I think you may even see a sexual improvement, and avoid many of the pitfalls.
It takes a time for the body machinery to get adapted, sometime even months, but you should see a gradual progress at least every week.
In relation to muscle mass, on a carnivore diet ( or animal based diet) we loss a lot of muscle water, so at the beginning the muscles seems to be shrinking, but it is only intra muscular water (water is bounded to glycogen a type of carb inside the muscle)! later you may get a natural increase in muscle mass and you will be stronger than you will look ( like all your muscle mass will be very high quality, so less produce more force, I call it "muscle pruning"). But if you do some push ups, pulls ups, and squats, you may get nauturally buff on this diet!

Brief and to the point article about the benefits and some nuances of low or even very low carb diets.
By the way she got very interesting articles relating diet to mental health, some have been published in psycology today I believe or in her personal blog.
some cool nuggets I readed in another article:
High protein in the context of a carbohydrate reduced diet may even lower fasting insulin levels.
In fact, the acute rise in insulin after a meal is probably one of the reasons why protein helps keep blood sugar low.
One of the biggest concerns with a high protein diet is that the amino acids in protein get converted to glucose via gluconeogenesis. In fact, well-conducted physiological studies show that protein is not a meaningful contributor to blood glucose either in healthy people or people with type 2 diabetes.
Even a meal with 50 grams of protein didn’t cause a significant increase in blood sugar. In a recent presentation, Dr. Ben Bikman proposed that your body’s ability to regulate blood sugar and insulin after you eat protein is influenced mainly by your carb intake, as well as how metabolically healthy you are."

And most of all, thank you for nudging me towards the 20/4. I'm still on it, and as I got used t it, I do not get super hungry anymore -hungry yes, but not anymore like "growling stomach and shit, where's some food"-.
And I'm loving it.

Quote from Stef on September 13, 2020, 2:10 pmyeah, when insuline is keeped high by frequent eating, high carb, vegetable oils damaging insuline receptors, or any other reasson we can not acces our internal nutrients and energy stores, so we get constantly and violently hungry.
it is like having a lot of money saved in the bank but they freeze your account.
