How to reignite attraction after I had to postpone a 2nd date
Quote from Guest on February 17, 2020, 9:34 amI went on a first date with a good prospect that I met on social media. She’s been into me clearly. After the date, she told me that she had a great time so I invited her home the day after. She wasn’t sure at the beginning then agreed. However, she suggested a date 2 days after the date I suggested because she was out of town.
Unfortunately, I was busy afterword and couldn’t meet her in the week that follows. I know that Lucio says it’s like a countdown from the first date. But now 10 days have passed and most likely attraction has blunted. What’s the best move to re-ignite it? Through texting? Or inviting her to another date (probably outside home)? And what to do in this kind of situations in general because I’m a busy man and this kind of situations can reproduce in the future.

Yeah, as a general rule, it's better to strike when the iron is hot and the memory is fresh.
It's something that most dating coaches with experience also agree on. If anything, I stressed there are also exceptions to this rule, of course, as more than once I got together with women after a long time after the first meet. But still, you're generally better served not hoping in the exceptions.
At this point, I wouldn't go immediately for a date but I'd rebuild some comfort first.
A call, or a few texts where you can crack a couple of jokes and remind her of your cool personality. What I like doing sometimes in these cases is send a picture of something you've done or seen.
Something comment-worthy.
A good panorama or food with a comment often works great. Yes, it's higher investment, but low investment in these cases doesn't work nearly as well.
And when there is a good vibe usually high investment invites more high investment, and that's the positive collaborative frame you want -that's the same format I advise women to follow to make men invest-.I have some examples up in "how to text a flaky girl".
Or this text I used as a ping worked both as preselection/social proof and rekindling text. It's a bit risky of coming across as braggy, but if you pull it off then you kill two birds with a stone: not only you rekindle attraction, but you increase it.Or here is a more recent one after a first good date that didn't lead to sex and me wanting to set up a 2nd date:
Notice my question, which directly invites her to reply.
And then she sends a picture of her own. At that point, the atmosphere is ripe to invite her out again. You might want to go for something similar.
Set up a text-hook that gets you talking and vibing, and then set the day 2 while riding that good vibe.
