TPM articles updates: what's new
The article on positive nihilism is out now:
- How to Use Nihilism to Your Advantage for More Freedom: albeit it's mostly referred to as "healthy nihilism" throughout the article, it's still a fairly comprehensive article based on ideas we've shared and discussed throughout the forum on the topic (and happy to make any changes to the article based on feedback).

As a fellow philosopher (as in lover of wisdom) I reached the same conclusions as you did. My favourite quote:
What most don’t know is that a more powerful approach is to seek the ability to act without confidence.
Some time ago there was:
- Emotional manipulation, with some new takes and exmaple, but frankly no new ground broken
And the latest one:
- Persuasion VS manipulation: an important article on the "ethics" of persuasion/manipulation, but deeper down also between seeking personal advancement VS remaining an "honorable", value-adding man (eagle). Also may help clarify the distinction.
And there is some new ground broken here with some distinction between the two that I haven't seen anywhere else

One of the foundational articles of TPM I think, along enlightened cynisism, ubermensch, the 4 stages of développement of an eagle, the alpha male.

Frankly, I personally didn't consider it at that level (which is why it's great to know what others think).

I do think it's ground-breaking. I have never seen influence, manipulation and persuasion explained in those terms before.
Finally updated the article on:
It was about time, always remained a mystery to me how the first one even got so popular in the first place.
To me, it was a collection of random traits without second thought that was at the same level of WikiHow and the likes.
It was the only popular article on the topic. I'm biased, but having been #1 on google for so long it's hard not to see how it was an important article to help change the popular manosphere discourse from "be alpha" to "be high value".
There's a part of me who thinks "maybe it's BECAUSE it was so silly and simple that it was successful".
More truthful, nuanced, and advanced articles simply don't land too well on the majority.
I hope to be wrong on that one.
Not that this one is great either, but good enough that I can live with it without feeling like I failed my job and put out crap :).
So looking forward to read it!
